Interesting reading ...

* My guesstimate for bunks and their direct access space was close.
That isn't surprising, just take the size of a not-too-small human.
I've underestimated the thickness of the mattress, and the effect
  of lockers under the bunk.
* At first I was surprised how much stowage the crews got, but then I
realized that GURPS would call some of that gear "cargo" instead. A
typical human is assumed to be 150 lbs. with 50 lbs. of worn or
carried gear. Many starships would have one space suit per person,
for example, and scouts would carry much more.
* Some of the privileges for officers and chiefs are logical -- an
ordinary crewmember needs no safe, and probably no conference nook,
either. Others are harder to understand. Why would officers need
  larger dining tables?

When it comes to ratios for mess tables, barber chairs, and so on,
the manual works for large crew. Translating the numbers for less
than a dozen will be difficult.

Regards,
Onno
