Delgado Deep Nine Prospecting ATV v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL9)

  This specialized All-Terrain Vehicle mounts a drill rig and a geophone
for survey work. The long cargo bay can hold drill cores for analysis at
the home base. To simplify maintenance, the Deep Nine ATV has only very
limited electronics. A laser sensor and a transponder on top of the rig
are used to calculate the exact position of the ATV.
  The multifuel engine burns 27 gallons per hour. A full tank of diesel
is $1,200.

Subassemblies: Body +5, four Off-Road Wheels +3, Open Mount +4.
Powertrain: 875-kW all-wheel drivetrain; 900-kW ceramic engine;
  7,500-kWs advanced battery.
Fuel: 1,000 gallons diesel (fire on 7).
Occ: 2 RCS, 1 XRCS (Open Mount), 7 bunks.   Cargo: 600 cf.

Design Notes
  Body is 2,500 cf. Wheels are 500 cf. Open Mount is 500 cf. Structure
is cheap, heavy. Armor is cheap metal. Mechanical controls. 788.45 cf of
empty space. Empty weight is 50,000 lbs.
  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, July 2010 errata], Vxi, and VXii (including the armor volume
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
