Escape Pod Mk.VII v1.0 (TL14)

  The Escape Pod is used to evacuate orbital stations or spacecraft near
inhabited worlds. It has seats and environmental systems for five humans
or aliens of comparable size. The Mark VII introduces a force screen to
help survive in a situation which proved fatal to the mothership.

Design Notes
  Body is 250 cf, with total compartmentalization, lifting body,
underbelly skids, and very good streamlining. Structure is heavy, cheap,
living metal. Armor is cheap metal. Sealed. 37.6 cf of empty space.
Empty weight is 4,800 lbs.
  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, July 2010 errata], VXi, and VXii (including the armor volume
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
