Hi Klaus.

Is it possible that your image is not well referenced?. Maybe you can 
check it adding some WMS to be sure your image is ok.

Or you may have been using a non projected EPSG. You can send gvSIG.log 
file and/or your point data with EPSG code you are using if you need 
more help.
