Hello, Tobias. Wow, really nice!!

In my example, I didn't have a "pan tool" so I don't know how the SWT canvas 
will behave if you drag a map (will it be smooth or not?).

So now are you going to add some tools so the user can interact with the view?

Hi Juan,

I have enhanced the proof of concept with the OSGVP Terrain viewer. See the 
attached screenshot. It is the same way as we did it with the gvSIG-components 
using albireo.
