Hello, Wolfgang.
I have not heard any news about that since the last time you asked:

http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/gvSIG-and-Oracle-Spatial-raster-data-access-td4121470.html

There have been great progresses with the PostGIS raster format, which is
obviously much more gvSIG-friendly because PostGIS is open-source software
while the Oracle DB technology is not.

Asunto: [Gvsig_english] gvSIG and raster data in an oracle spatial database

Hi list,

I have asked this question some time ago, maybe there's a new
development in this field: are there any plans
to allow users to access on raster data stored in an oracle spatial
database? That would be great. But a short answer, too.
Many thanks and best regards,

Wolfgang
