Hi all,

Here is one proposal for gvSIG CE:

There are some processing elements that are duplicated, since they
appear in some gvSIG element such as the geoprocessing manager or the
raster tools, but are also part of SEXTANTE. To me, it makes no sense
having both of them, and all spatial analysis should be done through
SEXTANTE (that gives you more options, since you can use algorithms in
the modeler, the batch processing interface, etc.). What about
removing them? As long as there is an alternative in SEXTANTE, I think
all these elements should be removed.

This has been proposed within the official gvSIG project several
times, but it seems they are not working on this direction, so maybe
it is something that we should do on the CE version. I would like to
know your opinion about this. I will take all the work needed
(implementing missing features in SEXTANTE, cleaning the gvSIG code),
but I want to know that you think it is a good idea.

Regards

Victor
