Hi. I am having the same problem. It looses a charge very quickly. The stream
is better with battery life. I wish we could use ordinary bateries instead of
rechargibles for the bs, or that we had the option to do either or. At the
very least this should be improved on, although it seems to be a common problem
as I know even with my cell phone the batteries never last long enough.

  Subject: [GW-Booksense] battery converns

Hi, guys. I am fairly happy with my book sense, but I noticed something last
Friday that I wanted to comment on.

I use my book sense when walking on my elliptical for 40 minutes.

Friday, I noticed that I was at four percent. I figured I had at least one
more day.

On Monday, when I walked again, I prepared to listen to my book but was
immediately told that my battery was low and I needed to charge. I looked at
the percentage and noticed it was at one percent. I hadn't used the book sense
since Friday.

So, I had lost three percent just sitting there over the weekend.

When I charged it, it only got to nine percent and stopped. It never made it
to ten even though I unplugged and plugged in the charger again.

But I am surprised at how fast this thing loses a charge. At 40 minutes per
day, five days per week, I am getting nowhere near 12 hours. It's probably more
like eight.

And I am listening through ear buds.

I got a better battery life on my stream than I do on the book sense.

It could be the battery, but this is a new unit with a new battery.

  Thanks.
