I'm not a big fan of the latest version of Audible Manager, but I can transfer an Audible book more quickly using it than I can with Windows Explorer. Once I have checked the External Drive radio button so that all of my Audible titles will be sent to the SD card, I don't need to do it again. After downloading a file, I can find it in my Library in Audible Manager by rapidly typing the first few letters of its name. I can then press Control+t to start the transfer. Audible Manager plays a little tune to let me know when the transfer starts and completes. I find this method easier and quicker than moving from folder to folder and copying and pasting. I have also used my card reader to transfer files. It all comes down to which method works best for each of us.

This method takes a lot less time. Just make sure you transfer the files to the Audible Book subfolder in the Audio Books folder.

You can also go to my documents\audible\downloads and use windows explorer and copy the book from there.

Celeste,
Most people who have one use a card reader to avoid the problem. If you don't have a card reader, you can connect your BookSense, make sure it is selected in the Device List and click the External Drive radio button in Audible Manager after you have located it with either your mouse keys or your JAWS cursor depending on which screen reader you are using. The Internal Drive button is checked by default. I can usually find the radio buttons by starting from the bottom of the Audible Manager window. Fortunately, the radio button stays checked from session to session once you have clicked it.

I have put audible books on the flash and SD card and they play fine.

Is there a way to make the audible manager transfer the books to the SD card instead of the flash? It automatically puts the books on the booksense after it downloads it.

Hi, the Audible folder shows up just fine in Flash, but doesn't show up on the SD card? Is this expected behavior?

If so, it would probably be a good idea to have Audible work on the SD card to give more room for books.

Turn right, then go straight!

        Jeremiah 29:11-14 (Amplified Bible)

11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

12Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.

13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(A)

14I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.
