Hello and thanks for this email. Regarding your suggestions they are all marked down to be fixed or enhanced. However one thing I'd like to ask is regarding your suggestion 4. I cannot reproduce this. When I play multiple folders, using the 1.1 firmware, they are playing in the correct order. Can you verify that you are using the 1.1 firmware?

Many thanks.

Hi both GW staff and members of the GW-BookSense list. I just recieved
my BookSense xt and I've been loving it. I am glad that I went with
the BookSense but I would like to share my likes and dislikes with you
all.

Pros
1 The size is great. It fits in my pocket very easily and since I'm a
student it is great to grab my BookSense and go. It will be a valuable
tool for my studies.
2 I love the radio. It is a lot better then I thought it would be.
3 The recording. It is useful to have a recorder for recording notes and such
4 The clock. It's nice to have a clock and alarm handy.
5 The navigation. I find that the navigation is very easy to use.

cons and suggestions
1 The volume for the synthesizer and music and books aren't separate
so when you are listening to a audio book for example and have it very
loud when the synthesizer speaks it's very loud. I would like to see
different volumes for materials and the synthesizer.
2 When I am playing an NLS book and press the mode button to go to a
different mode and switch to the sd card and then switch back to the
flash disk the BookSense does not remember my position. I would like
this to be changed.
3 When I play a music file that is 11 minutes long the BookSense
remembers the position and the only way I can go back to the beginning
is to press 8 and type in 0 percent. Another thing that is annoying
about this is that when it is at the end it goes on to the next track.
This is all well and good but when I play the file again it does not
go back to the beginning. I would like to have a feature where you can
disable the remembering of files or a feature where the BookSense does
not remember the position of files in the music folder.
4 When I press play or ok on a foldr the the files are not playing in
the order they are suppose to. For example I have folders labeled from
a to z it does not play it that way. I know this because the last file
is suppose to be z but is why, and the one before that is t, and z is
somewhere before those files. However when I am in the folder and
select all with 7 the files play in the correct order. If GW can look
into fixing that it would be great.
5 When I press 1,4, 2, 5 to go through the books in the NLS folder the
BookSense sometimes locks up. ANother NLS problem I had is when I am
playing a book and right arrow quickly through the chosen navigation
the book stops reading. Then I press star and try to play it again the
the book would read for about 10 seconds and then the BookSense would
lock up. Please fix these two problems because I a lot of NLS books.

Thanks for reading this email and I hope these issues can be resolved.
Keep up the good work GW Micro and HIMS.
