For those who might be interested, I developed a utility for grabbing
messages, contacts, and appointments from Outlook and turning them into text
files which can be placed on a portable reader.

Although the utility was developed for use with the Bookport, it can also be
used with other portable readers like the Book Sense. The program is called
OL2TXT (for Outlook to Text) and can be downloaded from the link below:

The documentation and help files are pretty self-explanatory.

I haven't yet purchased a Book Sense since I'm waiting to see how some of
the current issues get resolved before deciding on my next portable book
reader. Thus the ability to move from item to item within a list is based
on the construct of the Bookport. If I understood how the Book Sense
delineates items for navigation I could probably modify the program to
follow the Book Sense navigation scheme.

Anyway, since I've found this useful to me I thought others might also find
it useful.

Enjoy.
