David,

I also bought my Book Sense to read text files such as those from Bookshare, TNAUK and others. The unwanted linefeed and other pauses really detract from a product which could still be great.

I'm really hoping that GW Micro and HIMS take the reports from this list and implement them in the next firmware upgrade. If things like the clunky text pauses aren't fixed I cannot in good conscience suggest that other blind users purchase this product.

Hi all

I have had my Booksense for just a few days and, while generally I find it
excellent, when I read documents such as txt files, I find the reading using
the synthetic voice rather jerky and stilted, with unwanted pauses which
occur on a regular basis.

Is there anything that can be done about this? I have the XT model.
