That has been discussed before, however, because it had, I never even
thought to tell you that many of us did do that after updating the firmware.
I apologize to you for not bringing this up as a possibility because I
thought everyone had done that. Synthesized speech will never be human, but
I will say, a bit herky jerky or not, this is better than what I was using
before the Book Sense which was dreadful in my opinion.

I have done one thing which reduces the unwanted pauses I spoke about
earlier. the problem is still there, but it is less noticeable than
before.
I entered document reader but did not go into a particular book. then I
pressed the menu key and down arrowed to page settings. I then pressed
right arrow and down twice to find a box where I could ignore line feeds,
which I have now done. This does help a good deal.
