HI, I don't think it is really a blonde moment, or snow white for that matter, but that is the European format for dates. I think it is really the international standard for dates. The United States may be the only place that uses month, day, year.
I've had to stop and think about it several times when reading dates like that myself. Of course, I grew up a blonde, so there you go. (Grin.) I'm more white than anything myself. Here's to aging!
