This is an issue relating to the BS not seeing multiple parts of a book as
one large book.

If you navigate to the part of the book where you placed the mark, it will
be there.

This is supposed to be a high priority fix for the next firmware update but
since the BS uses windoes media for playback, I'm not sure how they will fix
the problem.

Right now, one is best served by combining multiple files into one large
file using mp3 merge or any other file merging program.

Hi Cecily,

I'll be glad to forward your message on to the list. I also copy it to
Aaron, who I think is in charge of the mailing lists, and may be able to
assist you with your list problems.

Chip

Subject: GWbooksense list

HI. For some reason, I get the messages from the list, but not the ones that
I send, and when I send a message, the list doesn't receive it. Not sure
why. Maybe you could pose my question to the list. I'm trying to figure out
how to save my place in an audio book. If I press the number 1 to place a
mark in a later track, like for disk 3 or something, if I'm at the start of
the book, if I press the number 2, Booksense will tell me that the mark
doesn't exist when I know it does. I should be able to exit the book and it
should remember where I left off, just like my other player does. Right now,
I pause the book, but I should be able to reenter the book and find my place
easy enough. I'm also wondering why I didn't get the list info after I
subscribed. Thanks.

Cecily
