Subject: [GW-Booksense] a teaser of the new firmware
Hello all. I just want to let everyone know that we are testing some of
the new features and enhancements of the next firmware of the BookSense.
There are some pretty exciting things happening with it. In this message
I'll tell you about one of them.
With the new firmware, you can safely sneeze while listening to an NLS
book, knowing that you can reverse the book in smaller than one minute
increments. This is because in the new firmware, the movement by time has
been adjusted so that it is consistent with the media player. So now there
are settings such as 5 seconds, 10 seconds, ETC. Also, any book located
inside the nls folder defaults to movement by time instead of by phrase.
We still don't have a release date, but I can say that it's getting
closer.
Many thanks.
