Well, I am one who uses Bluetooth and feel that a hotkey to turn the
Bluetooth on and off would be quite a nice feature. On the other hand, I
absolutely never, ever, use the sleep timer. Never have, never will. That
being said, I would never state that having a sleep timer hotkey was less
important just because I didn't use it personally. We all have things we
would like to see addressed. The truth is, some things probably will be
addressed in the next release, and some probably won't. But it is not fair
for any of us to judge the importance or lack thereof of a feature just
because it doesn't line up with our personal priorities. We all use the BS
differently, and it is important to keep that in mind. It is also important
to remember that GW Micro is working hard on behalf of all of us to resolve
bugs and bring us features that we request, whenever possible. I'm sure a
lot goes on behind the scenes that we're unaware of. Expressing frustration
won't make things happen any faster. If GW has to repeatedly keep addressing
the same concerns over and over, it diverts them from the necessary
collaboration they need to do to bring the new firmware. Just my two cents.

I agree with Keith on this. I have the Booksense xt, and love it dearly, but
I honestly have no immediate plans to use bluetooth. I'd much rather see a
hot key for the sleep timer or some other more commonly used function than
for bluetooth. Just my two cents worth.

HI,

I can really apprecieate new features
Especially, those that improve navigation.
My concern is that the BS bugs and other performance issues are not going to
be addressed. Similar to what has happened with jaws and window eyes!

Personally,
a hot key for toggling BT on/off is a nice perk however, I would rather see
the hot key dedicated to the sleep timer. The sleep timer is likely used
more often then BT.

I have heard absolutley nothing regarding the playback issues concerning
multiple files within a foler tree.
I have heard nothing about the sleep timer bug fix! Nothing about the Blue
tooth and batetery life issues! Nada! Bupkiss!
My point is that HIMMS should be fixing the bugs and enabling access to
contect rather then adding a feature that only effects XT
owners and, quite frankly, is nnot going to be used that often given the
bugs in the Blue tooth stakc!

KG.

Hello. Last Thursday I wrote to give a small teaser for the up-coming
firmware for the BookSense which we are testing. We don't yet have a
release date for this, but in the mean time I figured I'd give a small
teaser.

Bluetooth hot key. For those of you who have the BookSense XT with the
Bluetooth capabilities, you can now turn the Bluetooth feature on and
off by pressing and holding the number 6 for 2 seconds.

This means that if you want to toggle the Bluetooth state, you don't
have to wade through the menus to get there. The menu method is still
there however.

Many thanks.
