You just prodded my memory. I was also reading at speed 4.

Hi,

I had a lockup with an Audible book today that I can reproduce every time. It's To Live Is Christ: Joining Paul's Journey of Faith, Part 2 (Unabridged), by Beth Moore. The BS freezes at approximately time index 1:48:54 to 1:49:00 and must be reset. I reproduced this twice using reading speed +4 and once on the normal speed. The BS was reading, and I did not press any keys to cause it to lock up. Ultimately, I skipped past the area by moving by time in 5-second intervals, and the noted time index is the closest I can give you because of the lockup.

Also, I don't know whether my experiences mirror Sandy's, but if my BS is going to lock up when pressing 0 to check elapsed time in an Audible book, it's always while reading at speed +4. It doesn't seem to happen at normal speed. (I have not tested other speeds.) I have learned to pause the book before checking time elapsed, and this has served as a good work-around for me.

Turn right, then go straight!

        Jeremiah 29:11-14 (Amplified Bible)

11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

12Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.

13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(A)

14I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.
