With the new BookSense firmware you will be able to preview the first 5
seconds of files in the record folder. The files supported are wav, mp3,
and 3gp audio files. As you press up and down arrow in the record
folder, you will hear the first 5 seconds. After the 5 second preview,
the BookSense will announce the file name as usual.
You can interrupt the preview and press any other key such as the play,
or pound/ok buttons to start playing, or any arrow key to move to the
next folder.
Many thanks, and just so you know, we are very close to releasing this
new firmware. We don't yet have a firm release date, but I can say that
it will be before Christmas this year.
