I really dislike the Sony bluetooth headphones, and much prefer the Dell
ones I have.

The sonys feel like rickity junk, with awkward poor build quality feeling
controls.

they have one advantage: they can be recharged with yet another wall-wart,
instead of a usb cable.

they have another disadvantage: they have a bright flashing blue LED,
which can annoy sighted partners at night.

Evan,

The headphones you refer to were mentioned in the Booksense unveiling
recording from the end of June. Here is a link to that presentation, in
case you would like to listen to the part about the headphones again:

At the time, GW Micro had said they are selling a pair of Sony Bluetooth
headphones for $39, but they were a pair that would cost $90 or $100 in an
electronics store such as Best Buy. I have not verified the accuracy of
this statement, nor do I know which specific model they are/were selling,
nor do I know if they are still offering these same headphones for the $39
price. I am sure you could call them to find out more.

Hope this helps,

Does anyone remember the specifics of the stereo mike Raul mentioned
in the presentation on June 30? Or, does anyone have any suggestions for a
reasonably good stereo mike I could buy myself, or put on my Christmas wish
list, for the Book Sense? I don't need it for anything in particular; I just
want one to do some casual recording, but that will give a decent fidelity.

        Thanks much.
