The idea of being able to set the balance for one bad ear is something I
haven't given too much thought to because of the type of hearing loss I
have. However, isn't it possible to find head phones that will let you do
that?
With my bad ear, amplifying the sound on that side also amplifies what the
broken frequencies do to speech which is not good at all. So, I am mostly
right eared with a little help which is minimal from the left.

Agreed!
I have put forward the suggestion to scrap the EQ and offer bass and
trebble
control so perhaps one day it willl happen.
Unfortunately,
We are dealing with a microsoft platform here so don't count on this
becoming a reality.
I would also like to see a balance control added to the feature set as
well.
This would be handy for those with some hearing loss in one ear!

Subject: [GW-Booksense] preset equalizer and Audio Quality
Hi
I just recently purchased a booksense XT and find the audio quality
for music to be pretty bad. Hopeflly they will incorporate separate
bass and treble controls. The whole eq reset thing is awful. My
BlackBerry has better sound and it is just a phone.
