I use it for all of my media needs now, music and reading and podcasts.
at one time I was using a sonsa mp3 player for music but got tired of the napster to go service so just decided to use the sense for it all. how ever since getting the sense I find I am reading much much more than listening to music.

Subject: [GW-Booksense] media player or book reader?

Hi all,
 Hope this finds everyone well.
Seems like a lot of changes were made in the media player in version
2.0 and maybe not so many were made in the daisy reader. Perhaps that
was because many changes didn't need to be made--not owning a
Booksense I can't know that.
 My question is this.
Do most of you use your Booksense more for reading or for listening
to music, and in any case, do you find that the Booksense is more for
music or for reading?
What do you as users think the primary purpose of this is--what did
you get it for? I know of one woman who got her Booksense for
primarily music, uses it for that, and has no problem.
Thanks so much for fielding all my questions as I try and make a decision.
Shanda
