Pam, I have encountered the same problem and have already sent a couple of sample text files to GW Micro. I would guess there won't be much of a chance to look at this until after the holidays. What I have not tried yet is whether bringing the files causing me trouble into a Word or RTF document would get around the problem. Have you tried that yet. This would not be a long term approach, but if it worked, it might get us buy for the short run until GW Micro or HIMS can figure out what is causing the problem. There were some uncommon characters in my files that came from exporting a PDF document that I believe were mostly decorative. I did not experiment with removing them but may try that to see what happens. If you stumble on anything, let me know.
