Hello. We have seen similar behavior sometimes and the only solution
which seemed to work was to reformat the flashdisk. If you give that a
try, be sure to copy out any data off of it which you don't want to lose.

Hi,
I have a BookSense XT that is at version 2 of the firmware.
I just downloaded a NLS book and placed it on the internal flash disk.
When I start to play the book, I get the beeps letting me know it is
loading; the title is read and the name of the author is about to be
said. At this point, the author name is cut off and my BookSense is
frozen to the point I have to do the reset or pull the battery.
This is the second NLS book to do this to me.
I have several other books on the device, all in the internal flash
disk, but these 2 are the only ones that give me problems so far.
DB69415 is the book I just added today. I am not sure of the number for
the other book.
