I'd like to stick my two cents' worth in here too in favor of the Book Sense.
Sure there are some what I consider small things that could be
better, such as the pronunciation for some words when using the TTS.
part of it. A more versatile E.Q. would be good too. So would be
multiple alarms. It would also be cool if, instead of hearing the
whole number of seconds thing when you press the clock button, that
instead, you could get the number of seconds if you held the button
down for a couple of seconds.
Just so you don't think I'm complaining, if all these things never
got changed or fixed (although I hope they do), this is still a
fantastic device. I used a Bookport for several years until it
died. It had some pronunciation quirks too, but the overall voice
quality of the Book Sense is, to my thinking at least, a hundred
times better. So is the storage capacity.
Now, if they could only add the cell phone feature. (LOL)

I am a college student, and I do not ever go anywhere without my
cellular phone and my booksense. I love the portability of the unit,
and the wide variety of supported formats. Thank you GW Micro for a
wonderful product.
