Hello. This is correct. You do not need to hold the 3 down for 2 seconds
to delete a mark. The only time you need to hold the 3 key for 2 seconds
is in the file browser to delete a file, folder, or book.

You must hold the 3 key down for 2 seconds and then the unit will
ask you to enter the number of the mark you wish to delete.
Enter the number and press OK to delete.
