... well, almost.
This evening I was digging through my purse and my booksense, which was
inside the purse, came flying out and landed hard on a tile floor.
I expected to find it in 2 pieces (battery and circuitry), but it was all in
one piece, and when I unlocked it it talked and functioned normally -- until
I got to the SD card.
I took the card out and put it in again, but that didn't solve the problem.
What happens is that I get a list -- the first item is barely audible and it
is the manual for the booksense. The rest of the folders speak fine -- the
usual bookshare/newsline/nls/rfbd folders and and their menus. They are all
empty, but when I select the booksense manual and check its size, I see that
the manual is there. It just doesn't show up when I right arrow to the
contents.

Have I damaged the SD drive?
I was in the middle of listening to the manual and wanted to finish it. I
also want to be sure that the SD drive is working for future books.

So if anyone has any idea why my booksense is senseless, please send any
suggestions you might have.
TIA!
