... well, almost. This evening I was digging through my purse and my booksense, which was inside the purse, came flying out and landed hard on a tile floor. I expected to find it in 2 pieces (battery and circuitry), but it was all in one piece, and when I unlocked it it talked and functioned normally -- until I got to the SD card. I took the card out and put it in again, but that didn't solve the problem. What happens is that I get a list -- the first item is barely audible and it is the manual for the booksense. The rest of the folders speak fine -- the usual bookshare/newsline/nls/rfbd folders and and their menus. They are all empty, but when I select the booksense manual and check its size, I see that the manual is there. It just doesn't show up when I right arrow to the contents.
Have I damaged the SD drive? I was in the middle of listening to the manual and wanted to finish it. I also want to be sure that the SD drive is working for future books.
