Does banging on the 6 key and speeding up the voice help when listening to an NLS narrator? this is what I do, but I wonder if you're talking about a different problem.

This reminds me of a tiny feature I'd like to request, if it hasn't already been requested. I'd like the booksense to remember what speed I've set when listening to an audio DAISY book. Furthermore, I'd like it to use this speed setting when I'm arrowing up and down the file list of my NLS books and it uses the narrator's voice to read the book title. Am I making myself clear?

Some of the NLS narrators are just too slow for me in their delivery to

I don't know if I'm alone here, but I would like to see the play-back
speed increased for NLS books. I know that was done a little in
firmware version 2.0, but it would be great if it would match the
speed of the TTS used to read documents, and books from
Bookshare. It would be much better to have to slow the speed down
than to not be able to increase it. Am I the only one who would like
to see this? I know this can be done, because the demo of the
Bookport Plus had NLS books playing faster on their machine.

Come on! Go for it!
