Isn't it funny how we react to these foices. Kate always sounds bored out of her mind to me and Paul just reads it. I don't hear the higher voices well either, but just find that Kate annoys me after a while. She sounds sassy and not very happy to be doing what she is doing. Yes, even these voices develop a bit of a personality to our ears.

That is the way it is in eloquence anyway. Eloquenc has several female and 1 child voice and I can't make sense of any of them. However, on the booksense, I am gravitating toward kate. Paul has a sharp sounding voice that almost sounds like he is cutting you with his tongue...*smile* He also sounds angry to me. I don't need to listen to that all day...*smile* Just personal choice. --le ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dianne B. Very occasionally, I will switch to Kate when the book is written by a woman from the woman's point of view, but in all honesty, with my hearing issues, I am more comfortable with the male voice. I tend, however, to be this way about female announcers or readers. If they have a whiny nondescript voice, they annoy me after a while. I like people, women or men with hardy voices. I guess that is just me. Paul is doing the reading. Instead of someone else. Doesn't bother me, Jim shared this with me. I never gave it a thought. I just started reading the book. Paul is who I use all of the time. Just thought I would share. -- --Dar skype: dmgina23 FB: dmgina www.twitter.com/dmgina every saint has a past every sinner has a future Email services provided by the System Access Mobile Network.
