Sandy,
I really think copying all the contents of the sd card from the
booksense to a folder on your pc is probably the safest. If you can get
glue to work you're ahead of the game. The point is not to loose and
have to recreate 32 GB of data. The copy will take a while, but it
might be worth some serious consideration, especially if the data is
difficult to recreate.
Just my 2 cents worth,
Don

I don't know why, but I had not thought of connecting my BookSense
directly to my PC and backing up the card... Of course, I know how to do
that.
I called my PC repair guy, and he suggested gluing the card together
using hot glue. It is a nonconductor. I'll let you guys know if it works.

sandy,
turn off your book sens.
on your p c make a folder on the desk top named book sens s d card
backup.
plug the book sens in to your computer with the u s b cable.
turn on the book sens.
wait until it is reconised by your p c.
go to my computer and open it.
you will find the book sens and your s d card in the book sens as drive
letters in the my computer folder.
find which one is the s d card and open it to make sur it is the one with
all your info on it, if it is then do a control a to select all and a
control c to copy to the clipboard.
now min. this window and open the book sens s d backup folder on your
desktop and when opened do a control v to past all the folders and files
into that folder.
note; this will take a while so just get it started and walk away
after you
see it is moving the files.
when finished check the book sens back up folder on your desktop to make
sure all is there.
now you will not have to glue the card back together, because i do not
think
you could really do that any way.

Turn right, then go straight!
Jeremiah 29:11-14 (Amplified Bible)
11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord,
thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you
hope in your final outcome.
12Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I
will hear and heed you.
13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital
necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(A)
14I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from
captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to
which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the
place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.
