Many of the authors don't allow it to use tts to read the books.

Why not get an Ipod touch? It supports Ibooks and works very well with
voiceover. I just bought one and really like it.

BTW, the one thing that will move me to another audio player is who ever
comes up with the ability to support DRM will earn my loyalty. Once
there is a talking book player that supports DRM, then the requirement
to convert files will go away.
