We resolved this in the beta of WE 7.0. Note that this isn't braille
display specific. It impacts all braille displays.

Hi friends, is it just me or does window-eyes 6.1 not like the router
keys on the braille connect? I have it running along nicely, but for
example. If I press one of the router keys above a highlighted item
on the desktop that item dings and fails to open. If I press down on
the center of the joystick it opens right away. Same with buttons in
dialog boxes and items on the task bar. It seems that we just doesn't
like the router keys. I wonder if that's by design or if it's a known
bug, and if it would make a difference if I upgraded to the beta.
Hummmm.
