Let me join all the congratulations that will surely grace my mailbox when the latest GW Digest comes out. Since it's not available yet, let me just mention a couple items:
There's a really annoying hesitation when involking Read-to-End with IE7. Thought it might go away with the new Eloquence, but it's about the same. As if to balance this off, page transitions sure are faster. But where do we control all this announcing of percent-loaded which seemed to come out of nowhere? An odd behavior that had mostly disappeared has resurfaced as I go down message lists in my favorite Web Mail app, Squirrelmail 2.0. Each press of the tab key, in IE7, reads the top line of the page, and the place is lost in the series of checkboxes provided for manipulating messages. This used to be correctable by a reboot, whereas it's a consistent behavior right now. Finally, the AutoComplete feature has lots of potential, but how can we tame it? IE seems to remember every page generated off of a home page in no particular order. It's a great demo of things to come, however. Kudos to all involved, great presentation last night on MM! -- Sorry, no wity quotes today.
