I have just installed the beta, and it is too early for me to comment
credibly on its bugs, or indeed, its enhancements.
However: I installed the beta over v6.1, which has been interacting
with the Eloquence version supplied by Kurzweil 1000. I did not
uninstall eloquence, and it seems that Window-eyes just identified
the default Eloquence install and carried on.
I have noticed a slight sluggishness and an increase in popping. I
have not yet had a crash. Fluency seems o.k. with read to end.
For me, this version of Eloquence has always been stable, but I
expect that multiple and different versions of Eloquence will always be flaky.
So: Whilst I understand that many on the list are having problems
with Eloquence, I wonder if it might be less about Window-Eyes and
more about individual machines. It does seem to me that help in the
documentation might be in order for people.
Vaughan.
