One of the reasons in going with this version of ECI Eloquence was for
that reason. There will no longer be any lock up issues with K-1000 users

Doesn't sound that, at this point at least, there is any compelling reason
to attempt to use the newer Eloquence.
Incidentally, does the Newer Eloquence rectify the incompatability between
the Eloquence shipped with K1000 ver 11 and WE?
