If you reinstall the beta you will probably either not have the
problem again or you will be able to close and relaunch WE to work
arround the problem. Let us know your results as we are not able to
duplicate this and are still gathering information. When Aaron said
it would be solved in beta 2 he was thinking I was talking about another issue.

I downloaded the beta and installed over a regular copy of we61
using decaccess window-eyes.
The instalation seemed to go just fine.
Then I restarted the computerr with the following results as I
believe have been reported by others:
1. unable to move around the desktop
2. unable to access the start menu.
3. when attempting to access the system tray, the control-shift-t
said system tray, but nothing else spoke.
4. restarted the computer 4 times--which resulted in better access
to the desktop, but not the start menu and system tray.
I used Narrator to uninstall we70 beta 1.
Luckly, I backed up my set files.
When I re-installed we61 from the cd, I did a custom install so I
could keep my
c:\wineyes folder.
After restarting the computer after this re-install, thankfully my
speech was back with an odity!
I appeared to be unable to save my settings changes.
When I looked in the
c:\wineyes directory, the users folder had been renamed users.bak.
There seemed to be no "users" folder.
I renamed this folder to users and all seems well again with WE61.
Now, if I made a mistake when installing the beta, it was that I did
not disable the AVG free edition virus checker.
Could this have blocked some of the instalation of the beta?
I'll wait for some ideas before attempting to install the beta again.
