I have only experienced this with the we 7.0 beta 1, we 6.1 never gave me
this problem.

Subject: RE: Start menu problems with beta

I should note that I have seen this behavior for years with my machines.
The solution is, as already pointed out, to shut down WE and restart the
program.

i NOW HAVE a neat little batch file that stops all the WE processes and
restarts the program for my synthesizer of choice, on this machine, being
a TrippleTalk Internal.
So you will have to modify the following to address your particular
synthesizer choice upon restart.

pskill wineyes.exe
pskill gwm32.exe
pskill speech32.exe
pskill bdisplay.exe
c:\wineyes\wineyes.exe //stpl32

I can run this batch file from the run dialog as well having it placed on
my start menu with a short cut plus a short cut on my desktop.
This really has made my pc life a whole lot simpler.
                              Mike
