And a strange problem at that. The script seems to have a conflict with
the Wordpad application. If the script is running, and I launch Wordpad,
things become extremely sluggish. Then, upon attempting to close
Wordpad, I get this error.

I usually stop the script at this point, after which I can reopen
wordpad, and things work as they should. Just thought I would bring this
up, since there is an actual application conflict here.
