If you close and relaunch WE does it help? If you completely remove,
install 6.1, and then the beta does it help?

I have just downloaded version 7.0 beta 1 and have noticed the following.
When at the desktop I tab once and Window-Eyes says start but when I
continue tabbing WE does not mention either the toolbar nor the
sistem tray. Also when I press control plus backslash the
window-eyes controll panel does not seem to function as it did in version 6.1.
I have a current version of 6.1 with xp2 home edition.
