I'd be interested to know if anybody uses windows live messenger with a
voice other than the old elloquence 5.0.
I wonder if the synthesizer crashes it?

when your typing back to someone and it just decides to drop out,
although i don't know if it is windoweyes, my friend uses the fish, and
she has noticed it, however not as frequently

Subject: subject regarding window-eyes and MSN messenger programs
Hi, everyone,
I've noticed a weird quirk with window-eyes and microsoft's messenger
programs. I've actually noticed this for a couple of years but thought
that maybe it was just my particular computer. What seems to happen is
that after I use a messenger program, particularly windows live
messenger because that's the one I usually use, but after I use it for
a certain period of time, it closes out and signs me out, causing me to
have to sign back in. I tried seeing what would happen if I used
windows messenger, and, with that program, not only does it shut down
after a period of usage, but I had to re-boot to even get the program to
work properly. The reason I'm wondering if maybe this is a window-eyes
issue is because I've used the messenger programs with other screen
readers, including the free readers like system access and NVDA and have
not had this issue with either of those screen readers. I finally got a
new computer a few weeks ago and experienced the same thing so I've come
to the conclusion that it's not an issue with a particular machine, so,
I guess what I'm asking is whether there's a known reason for why this
happens and if there's any sort of fix for it.
