_____ From: Darrell Shandrow [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Dienstag, 8. Juli 2008 05:16 To: [email protected] Subject: Multiselect Listboxes are not Read on Web Pages with Window-Eyes 7.0 Public Beta 1 Hello GW Micro Staff and All Others, I am reporting a 100-percent reproduceable issue with multiselect listboxes on all web sites. The following steps will demonstrate an inability to read selections on listboxes every time: 1. Visit: http://www.siteexperts.com/tips/html/ts16/page1.asp 2. Press Control-Home to move to the top of the page. 3. Press c to move to the sample multiselect listbox. 4. Press enter to leave browse mode. 5. Arrow up and down through the list of options. Observe that everything reads normally in this mode. 6. Press Home to move to the top of the listbox, where "option 1" is selected. 7. Press shift-f8 to enable multiple selection. 8. Try to navigate with the up and down arrow keys. Observe that Window-Eyes remains silent. 9. Press Shift-F8 again to turn off multiple selection. 10. Press up and down arrows and observe a return to normal reading. I hope this bug report is helpful. :-) Regards, Darrell Shandrow - Accessibility Evangelist Please visit http://BlindWebAccess.com and sign the petition asking Yahoo! to make their CAPTCHA accessible!
