This is a great question -- and one I asked several months back with no
one answering this question on the 1100+ member Blindtech list.
It appears that the way you have to initiate a scan is through the context
menu when the drive letter is highlighted.
Then, one of your choices will be to do a scan of the given drive by Esset
Smart Security or Nod32, dependent upon which software one happens to be
running.
I only tested the trial version of Eset Smart Security on a test machine
and I hope that perhaps the way around this might be through scheduling a
task
to run at given times.
I am about to buy Smart Security for that test machine and I will see if
scheduling this is possible.
Perhaps this is a good candidate
for a topnotch script write to tackle in getting into some of the less
obvious settings of the program.
