SF and GWMicroI agree with you on the fs issue. There is a tendency for law
suits to blossom like out of control weeds. For example, the suit between the
Apple record label and Apple, the technology powerhouse.

I know that there has been some discussion that we might be harming GWMicro by
discussing this matter too much. This probably should have been considered
before the post was sent to the list because many of us have supported GWMicro
unashamedly

I also know what it is like to be taken to court by people that want to act
like jerks. Also, I also know the court process because I serve on the bod of
a transportation district where a couple of my colleagues were sued. While I
can't comment on the settlement, I can tell you that it was settled right
before the trial. The people involved were emotionally ripped apart. I don't
wish this on anyone.

My only problem with so many posts is that I fear that so many posts will delay
the GW Micro staff from helping us from being able to resolve our we issues. I
fear that this stuff can damage the assistive technology field at a time when
technology is changing at a rapid pace.

I hope that all of our fellow listers have a great weekend.

Kind regards

this whole business started by SF just disgusts me. If Freedom Scientific
wants to throw a temper tantrum and act like a two-year-old, that's their
choice. I think the whole issue with Freedom can be settled in a decent manner
without involving GwMicro. If they are that upset, just change your wording
and go about your business. Leave GwMicro alone. Placemarkings have been done
in various ways via nature since time began. Need I say more?

so, I'm backing GwMicro without shame, and we'll leave the two-year-olds to
fend for themselves. Just leave them in an empty room until they tire
themselves out.

Thanks for letting me have my say.
