Hi,

Have you tried to go into the set manager and have all the up-to-date sets
loaded for 2003? I am not experiencing this.

Regards.. Joe Lanier

Subject: Excel 2003 - When First Opened Does Not Read Cell Info

Hi,
If I first open Excel 2003 and start moving around, WE does not read
anything at all. If I press Control-N to start a new workbook, it reads my
new workbook even though it's empty, which is good. I need to add, though,
that the bad behavior does not happen for me every time. When it happens, WE
says the words "custom control" when Excel first opens. When it reads
correctly, it does not say the words "custom control" when Excel opens. I'm
not sure what else to report about these conditions that might cause someone
to reproduce the problem.

Thanks.

Jim
