Try another hot key, like scroll lock or the pause key, or any other
single key. I've not seen many times when control-shift-R works well,
at least, consistently.

This has happened twice now with beta one. The read to end command
stops working. If I close WE and restart it, the problem
continues. If I change synthesizers, the
read-to-end command still does not work, but if I reboot, the
command works again.
I have not been able to idenify what triggers this problem, but it
has happened twice now, so I thought I'd mention it.
