Ok I am going to try to keep this on topic.
First video mirror drivers.
Once you get the driver for window-eyes installed you will never have to do
anything with it again. Unlike with xp where if something updates your
driver you may or may not get the driver chained again.
This is a real concern. This has happened on a number of systems I have
seen. Finely just reinstalling the operating system was in order.
Next the new start menu has a number of advantages. Gw micro covered a lot
of these when window-eyes 6.1 came out.
You might want to review the pod castes they did on this subject at the
time.
Updating the operating system is much easier. No dealing with web sites
etc. just pick the options from the list view that you want to install and
follow the prompts. Automatic update also works better. System restore
does a much better job if you should happen to have a crash. The operating
system is generally more stable and secure.
The sound mixer has a number of advantages. A big one for speech users is
this.
If you should happen to mute your sound settings it only takes effect for
the user after log on. So you will be able to at least log in with speech.
Ready boost is a great feature. Also starting programs that you use more
often faster is another plus.
Built in dvd making support. Is another feature I use a lot.
The list goes on but I think this will give you a general idea.

Subject: XP and Vista what is in it for me?

Listers,

This might not be the place to ask, but, I can't find a news group that has
this topic covered. What I want to know are the WIFMS (what is in it for
me). In my estimation, if private industry hasn't jumped into the Vista
arena yet, why should I? All of my clients are using XP as their standard
O.S. for desktops.
