Thank you for your feedback, Paul. Rest assured that staff still read each and every message on this list. Moderating it, however, takes more time and resources away from working on Window-Eyes. We feel that everyone deserves a chance to say something, and that hasn't changed since the list first launched. When Window-Eyes 7.0 beta 1 was first released, there were a ton of messages about it, and some people upset at all the traffic. Within a few days, things had settled down. When the Freedom Scientific vs. GW Micro lawsuit was first announced, there were a ton of messages about it, and some people upset at all the traffic. Within a few days, things had settled down. I bet you'll find that when any topic that generates a lot of traffic shows up, its lifespan will be limited to a few days, people will be upset at all the traffic, but within a few days, things will settle down. Such is the nature of a democratic list like gw-info.

Whether wineyes works well or nor or has problems or not has nothing to do with xp versus vista. if i want to read about pro's and cons of operating systems, there are plenty of forums on the subject. There are also forums a plenty on computer advice for the beginner. Not that many years ago, the list was a fun and friendly place, now it is not. Life is difficult enough for everyone without internicene arguments. Not that long ago gw micro would have gently policed the list, but i think, no longer. Then again, if their business model is in decline, maybe because of litigation, I would not be a bit surprised.

Also we should try and self police ourselves, especially since gw is not for whatever reasons doing so. check out my website http://webpages.charter.net/galgi20home If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original
