I don't like loading Window-Eyes with scripts turned on, so will have
it auto load with them off, then turn them on. Results are a little
more predictable here also in that way. I have noticed that Jammal's
scripts that announce themselves take about five seconds after the
flurry of CPU dies down a lot to either load, or announce themselves.
Conflicts in CPU usage cause bottle necks and that is what happens I
believe with a lot of scripts loading in Window-Eyes at initial run
time, maybe?

When I started the computer this morning (xp home with service pack
3) the computer went into molasses mode shortly after announcing the
beta 2. Everything became very sluggish. Eventually it said
something about scripts loaded. When everything continued to be
very slow, I tried to close window eyes and restart it. Things
continued slowing to the point that I assumed nothing was happening
and would have tried something else when suddenly there was an
announcement of a key pressed minutes before. I rebooted the
computer and everything worked as it should since then. My guess
for what it's worth is that there are timing issues related to win
eyes starting and loading scripts vs whatever else the computer
wants to do automatically at start up. The problem comes and goes
and seems exacerbated when, as happens when starting fresh in the
morning, nod32 goes to check for an update as window eyes finishes
installing itself.
Wish I could be more helpful in describing what happened, but my
caffeine hadn't fully loaded this morning when the problem occurred.
