We did include several fixes relating to scripting that might impact
this. If you are still having it with beta 2 then we need to know
what scripts you are running. Note that there is a problem with
OnClipRendered and OnChildClipRendered events that will cause issues
that have been fixed post beta 2.

Hi folks
An update on the shutdown problems I have been having with my laptop
since installing beta 1. As some of you will be aware, I originally
experienced this problem on both my laptop and work PC. I
uninstalled the beta from my work PC as this has to be reliable and
instead replaced it with Window-eyes 6.1. This machine then started
to shutdown as normal. After pointing this out to a friend he
suggested that I disable all scripts in the beta runing on my laptop
before attempting to shutdown. I did this last night, and guess
what? Yep, the machine shuts down now, every time!
These two occurances suggest to me that this problem has definately
been caused by either all or a specific script which is installed on
my laptop. I have read one message on the list which claims that
beta 2 has corrected this problem and just want to know:
Did GW recognise there was a problem in the first place?
Have they rectified this problem in some way for the release of beta 2?
Thanks
Michael
