Hi,

After removing WE and reinstalling from V5.5 up to beta 2, I happy to say that
the problems I experienced in the attached have now gone.

Subject: BETA1 AND BLANK EDIT BOXES

Hi,

When in certain edit boxes, text seems to be disappearing! For example, when
entering a search phrase at www.google.co.uk in IE7, the Braille display is
often blank and I cannot get it to read with control+numpad 5. If I press END
to go to the end of the field and then left-arrow a few times, all I get is a
beep but nothing spoken. If I do the same but with the backspace key, I still
get the beep but letters are being deleted.

If I tab away from the edit box and then back again, all seems well!

If I use the touch cursor on the display to move the cursor to a particular
letter, everything disappears apart from that letter.

I've also experienced this in OE6.

When this happens, if I unload/reload WE, everything re-appears!

I'm using XP Home SP3 with GW's copy of the DECTalk Express and a PowerBraille
80.
